Terry Reid was our real estate agent in 2012 and assisted us in purchasing our first home. He was very knowledgable and professional throughout the entire process. I am writing today on behalf of Terry Reid. My wife Joanne and I met Terry in early January 2014 as we began the process of looking for our new home in the Phoenix area. On top of dealing with the stressful process of finding our new home in Arizona, we also were dealing with selling, packing and moving from our home in Colorado. Terry made the entire process not only bearable but actually enjoyable. I would characterize Terry Reid’s professional style as straight forward and confident, yet tempered with the right amount of humility and humor that eased many tense, stressful moments for Joanne and me. Terry had a knack for recognizing when it was time to have us step back, take a deep breath and look at our journey from a much more relaxed perspective. With regard to personal traits, we recognized early on, Terry is a man with the highest integrity. Terry was always upfront and honest with us, telling us not what he thought we wanted to hear, but his honest opinion. It became obvious; Terry would not sacrifice his own integrity or that of his organization for the sake of a sale. In addition to the highest integrity, Terry’s follow through, follow up and attention to detail were simply outstanding. We were never left wondering why, what or where as Terry promptly answered all of our questions and constantly keep us apprised of where we were throughout the entire home buying process. In the business world, there exists a very important principle that is key to being successful in sales, i.e., one must be a “strategic orchestrator”. A strategic orchestrator has the ability to bring together different departments, divisions or organizations, all working together towards one common goal. Terry was very adept at communicating not only with Jeff and Joanne Hammett as his clients but also with other agents, our lender and our title company, often picking up the ball when it had been dropped by these other entities. On a couple of occasions, when it needed to be done, Terry was firm yet professional in getting everybody else back on track. Bottom line: Joanne and I highly recommend Terry to any employer who is looking for an individual that practices and sets an example for those he comes in contact with, in the areas of personal character, integrity, work ethic, attention to detail and commitment.
